poetry is alive by Steve Anc

Do not stand at the grave and weep

Ah, souls!

There is no death in poetry.

Cause the sea could not drum  without poetry

The sea birds could not swim without poetry.

Stars could not be praised without poetry.

Without poetry, the stars quake, and the moon quivers.

Without poetry, the earth lost its beauty.

And without poetry death laud itself.

Yet, let us reason along:

If poetry is dead the birds could not sing.

If poetry is dead the moon could not dance.

If poetry is dead the rainbow could not spread.

If poetry is death the sky could not be appreciated.

If poetry is dead, today would never exist.

Without poetry…

There would be no butterfly

Cause butterfly signifies beauty.
